Every Day in May: Advice

I believe God is managing affairs and that He doesn't need any advice from me. With God in charge, I believe everything will work out for the best in the end. So what is there to worry about.

                                                                                                       --Henry Ford

So today I am to share a bit of advice with you, and it ties in with the quote above.

My advice:

Don't spend time regretting what happened yesterday. It's what you learn from yesterday that will make you the person you are today.

And with God in charge, it will work out for the best in the end.

What do I think that means? Of course there are times in life when you should feel sorry, apologize for being wrong, etc.  But once you have dealt with it, learn a lesson, put it behind you, and move forward.

Don't Play The "What If" Game!  What if I had married him? What if I would have finished college? What if I hadn't said that? What if I wouldn't have had kids? What if I would have had kids? What if the aliens came down to Earth and sucked you up into their UFO and carted you back to Mars??? Changing one thing could potentially change everything and not always for the better.  Live the life you currently have to the best of your ability.

So there is my advice.  Use the button on the right to find other words of wisdom at the Blog Every Day in May linkup with Jenni! :)
