Weekend Cat Blogging...

Because I never get to participate in Weekend Cat Blogging, I feel a little bad about crashing the party this weekend. But blame it on Patchouli! I was spotted lurking around the page and he (she?) demanded that I post this weekend! So here I am!

I don't even have a cute picture of my fur baby... but I do have a very typical one:

This cat loves the bathtub. If I'm taking a bath, she's sitting on the tub beside me. If I'm in the shower, she is sitting on the bathmat waiting for me to get out.  Here, the tub is dry and she's letting me know she wants me to toss in some water for her to lap up.  Yes, she's spoiled. I admit it. :)

And because I totally adore my niece, I'm posting a pic from last night of her, too!

Macy and her daddy.  She is crazy about her mama and daddy and just giggles and laughs for them.  Katie (my sister), who claims to hate monkeys on baby things, calls her Monkey or Fish. Usually it's Monkey Moodle, which just cracks me up. Monkey Moodle?? Where did that come from?

Anyway - there is my life summed up in two pictures:  Muffin and Macy. (and AH when she's home!)

Today is FRIDAY!

Today, I am tickled to be joining the Weekend Cat Blogging friends that I haven't seen in ages. I rarely post on the weekends since I live so far out I am still on DIAL-UP. Therefore, I usually blog from my phone.  Not very good at linking up with other blogs.

But today Pam at Sidewalk Shoes and her lovely kittens are the hosts and Muffin would be VERY upset with me if we missed out on playing with Coco, Smudge, and Patchouli.

Today is also Friday.

When I was in college, there was a guy who sat beside me in Music Appreciation - really nice guy. He attended Clemson for one semester before moving back home to his family, he was so homesick. BUT... just so happens his former roomies at Clemson were old high school peeps of mine. So they let me in on a little secret about him... Every Friday he would wake up and do the "Today is Friday!" dance around the room. He was so excited to go home to his family for the weekend.

Today, my friends, today is Friday.  And today, my friends, I'm ready to do the "Today is Friday!" dance! Join me - in your homes, your offices, your cars ... join with me and do the "Today is Friday!" dance, because I'm TICKLED PINK that today is FRIDAY! :)

I'm seriously singing in my head, "Today is Friday... Today is Friday..." and doing a little shoulder/half booty dance as I sit in my chair... ahhh... loving the thoughts of a weekend!

Today I'm sharing Allie and Chloe with the world - my furry nieces! They are adorable lively kittens that are into everything: the trash, dishwasher, fridge, bedrooms, bathtubs, and window sills. :)  I love 'em.

Granted, here all you can see is their booties!  They are on their special cat perch, enjoying fresh air from the open window.  Nothing like a good whiff of fresh air, right?

Her new thing is to sit on the rug in front of the tub to remind me she wants fresh water tossed into the tub for her drinking pleasure. :)  She's a mess.

Weekened Cat Blogging

Here is my entry for this week's Weekend Cat Blogging. I call it, "Not Amused."

As in  - Muffin is NOT AMUSED at the empty bird feeder outside her window, which means no entertaining birds fluttering about. Oops! Sorry Muffin!  Thankfully, my dad has been helping out this week. He said Muffin called him and requested that her bird feeder be refilled. I wouldn't put it past her!

Weekend Cat Blogging

I'm excited to join Weekend Cat Blogging again this weekend. This is one of my favorite Muffin Moments: She discovered the paper topper from some dry cleaning hangers and thought she should turn it into a boat. Unfortunately, her large and luscious self didn't fit too well!

This cat never fails to make me laugh. Poor thing - she's busting out every which way! LOL!

Ok, I'm not exactly sure what it is or how it works. But I'm trying it!
